So... I'll start a thread.

Let's talk about Chalabi.

Am I the only paranoid cynical reactionary freak around here or does it sound strange to some of you that the head of the Iranian intelligence would wire his Overlords in Tehran that Chalabi has just told him that their secret code they use for communicating has been comprimised by US intelligence?

Seems that my buddy, Richard Perle thinks it's odd too. He made a statement that it would be pretty braindead for someone to wire this info when they could have easily driven 2.5 hours and relayed the info in a secure manner. Rumsfield and Cheney both say that they were both surprised and didn't find it plausible that Chalabi would be leaking info to the Iranians either.

So, what's everyone's take on this turn of events?

Don't know what to make of this, cause I really haven't paid attention to it. An interesting development though, with some interspookagency manuevering involved.

I guess we won't know the "truth" until some staffer, who has no connection to the Dems, comes out with a book to blame the whole thing on Bush, showing us how he created the whole "Chalabi Crisis" by igoring a memo this staffer gave to some other random staffer who sandwiched it in some 5,000 page report submitted to congress two-months after Bush was inaugurated. FUCKING BUSH!! YOU INCOMPETENT BASTARD!!

I knew about Chalabi well before he became the darling of the State Department. When I heard he was flown to Iraq to be some bigshot, I about shit. State has ham-strung the Pentagon and White House at every turn since before the war. They pissed off the Turks, who then denied us roads into Northern Iraq. They gave false information about the future dangers in that piece-of-crap place. They (Powell) have screwed up this entire operation from the beginning:Kid gloves for everyone. Rumsfeld doesn't get off, either. He went along with the Chalabi ruse and convinced the President Chalabi was OK.
All these timid and corrupt fuckers from daddy's administration have brought about the mess we have today. KILL THE ENEMY TO EXTINCTION. THAT'S THE WAY WE WIN.

I don't follow celebs so I had no idea who Lindsay Lohan is. Still, the chance to check out breasts is too tempting to any normal sane man, and maybe even to Pistol Pete.
