How do you get to the World Series nowadays? You spend the money on pitching and bats. I believe my Dodgers have spent $84 Million on a winning roster and are fighting to be at .500!? I expect more for my money. There should be a salary cap to make teams more competitive but until that day, spend, spend, spend! Come on Fox, get with the program! Spend the money where it counts, not on injured catchers that you "think" will take the place of the great Piazza! You need to unload Hundley and go after another Pitcher. I heard Schilling may be available, could you imagine...Schilling and Brown, together beating the Braves. Only one thing could be better, Barry Sanders coming in to close the game!
Trading Karros!? NO! Karros is batting .268 to Hundley's .224, 29 RBI's to Hundleys, 19. And do we need to talk about fielding and defense? I think not.
And lastly, though this is off the subject. What's the deal with Chan Ho? I believe pitchers need to throw inside more. But for those pitchers that feel the need to purposely throw at a batter, whether it be their body or head, you guys suck! I'd like to say more but there could be children reading this. There's nothing wrong with brushing someone off the plate but when you try to injure a player, you deserve to get your ass kicked! I don't agree with charging the mound and getting everyone involved, but I would agree with having a chat with him after the game!
