As I was traveling through the northern heights, I chanced upon a well that was filled with all manner of wet. I did approach the well and gazed unto its reflective charm, not knowing it would beguile and sucker me in. I was instantly whisked into a world not of this one.
I was afraid and dropped to my knees, not knowing what unclean substance my hand did sink into. I front of me hung a red planet, part of which was missing as though some of it wasn’t there. This did puzzle me greatly, but not too much.

Before me lay mossy plains sculptured by cliffs of shimmering samite cutting into a vast ocean of deepest green. A mighty mountain thrust its heaving summit violently through the crust, quivering for a moment before splitting around its top.
I looked, and there was golden lion with two heads. One looking East and the other not. Upon each head was a crown with a single horn through the center. This fedorian feline held in its tail the Scroll of Many Layers, which it guarded jealously with huge, nasty, sharp, pointy teeth!

Then I saw a winged leopard with no spots, holding the top of the mountain from rising upward in the opposite direction from the lower part which was not moving. The leopard was of black crystal and on its back were many mouths saying something-or-other. I was confused and turned away, but then turned back and wondered why I had done so in the first place.
Next, I noticed a woman standing at the top of the peak, which was loose for some reason. I did not question the futility of the answer. I saw that the woman had two feet, one each attached to the bottom of her legs, except for the one I couldn’t see. In her right hand, which was to my left, she held a sword, pointed downward towards the upper part which was moving, unlike the lower part which still hadn’t moved since I had gotten there!

In her left hand she held a swirling white flame. Why? I don’t know. She had it just the same. Her long gown was of vermilion velvet with a golden rope around the waist and a neckline that showed an abundance of quiet cleavage. Above this pastoral scene, there before my eyes she had a large, green, gaudy gem embedded in her throat. Her hair was white, like that which is lightest and easier to manage. Birds flew in a circle above her laid back head, loosening their divine gifts to those below.

The woman and lion and leopard leaped from the rising summit and dove into the lower part that never moved. The shaking peak crashed back down and sealed them for all time. The birds then flew away and were eaten by strangers.

The job I applied for is a Health and Safety Inspector for the Ministry of Labour. In other words, I'd get to visit construction sites and make sure they're following regulations. I'm entered into 5 "competitions" in different areas of the city.
