How about a Midway Chat Room?

Folks,
Are you familiar with Yahoo chat? I was thinking that maybe we could open a Private Chat room for Ex Midway folks. It would be password protected so we could keep out the Phishermen and those nasty bastadges that cull screen names for the prupose of sending spam. Chat just requires a free account and screen name.

The forum already has a free chat. It's little more private and people don't have to go hunting around for you in Yahoo.

I would suggest that when people want to meet in chat that they post a message in this thread as a marshall point to detirmine interest and to set a get together time whether they use Yahoo or the chat here.

I told Billntwrk the other night that you were hiding a chat room in here somewhere, but he wouldn't listen to me! :shrug:

This is a great idea and it would be a riot for a bunch of us to get together once in a while to shoot the shit about the old days... and the REAL Navy :cool:
