Any Hotel Deals in SD for June?

I've asked Billntwrk to check on this and he said he'd have some feedback soon. Just wondering if any of the hotels are going to have any special deals for the opening in June?

AS Buzz mentioned in a previous post, I am checking on deals. It is hard to lock anything down because no *Hard* date has been announced (Inre: Grand Opening) I will tell you here, what we put out on the pier, to our walk up visitors. "The San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum anticipates opening the first week of June. It is hoped that the projected opening date will coincide with the Anniversary of the *BAttle of Midway*..."

Stay tuned here because I am sure Buzz will have access to the latest, most reliable information.

What I get is not always for public discussion and, on occassion, Buzz gets info the same time I do. In some instances, he gets it a few hours faster than I do. I know this. WHen Buzz gets it, you folks get it, no matter what the source.

As always www.Midway.org is a good source.

AS a reminder The San Diego Padres new Ballpark, Petco Park is now open and is less than a mile from Midway. See www.sandiegopadres.com for their schedule most games are at night so you can visit Midway in the day time and see a major league baseball game at night.
