The first game of the tourny is looking like a possible upset, Manhattan beating Florida in the second half.

Wow! Only two people picked the same team for champ. Should be interesting. :D

Something is messed up with that though...most of the teams listed in that 'PTW' column are not the teams that people actually picked to win it.

14-2, there's a new sheriff in town

and I took Nevada in my office pool but chickened out when I did this one, 15-1 in the work pool...and that's for cash!

I am wasting my talents, I should be in Vegas! :hehe:

Dave

This tourny has to be my favorite sporting event to watch, over the Superbowl and the World Series and I love baseball and football.

I listened to the updates on the radio all day at work and watched till mid night last night.

I'm glad I fell asleep before the end of the DePaul / Dayton game or I would have been too pissed to sleep.

Dayton fell apart - I'm soo pissed. I fell asleep before it was over too.

BUT - Gonzaga, my cinderella team came through.

Priceless - Sparty dies!!

Kim

They were a Cinderella a couple of years ago, I wouldn't actually consider a #2 seed a Cinderella.....now if Manhattan continues it's winning ways...now there is a Cinderella.

Good games on today as well...possible upsets in my eyes......Utah over BC and SC over Memphis.

Kansas could go down too, they aren't all that great this year

Ok, that's it - I'm done.

My team cracked-up on me. Good Grief, Nevada - I never saw that coming. I was so traumatized on Saturday that I had to go spend money on Sunday to make me feel better.

Although, for some reason I'm leading the poll :what: guess ESPN does it day by day. I'm not worrying, I'll drop like a brick after the next round of games anyhow. :hehe:

Hey - it's better than crappin' out in the early rounds of the NCAA, right?

University of Michigan • 2004 - NIT Champs

Think Syracuse baby. Didn't they go from NIT champs to NCAA champs?

Sideout
04-02-04, 09:27 AM
And I don't really think the NIT is that bad...I mean with all the piddly little conferences that get automatic bids to the NCAA for the champs...there's teams there that are worse than the NIT teams easy.

I heard a good quote - "They've learned how to win in march"

Dave
04-02-04, 09:35 AM
The Not Invited Tournament

If your team is in the NIT you tend to glorrify it, if your team is in the NCAA, you don't even know what the game times are for the NIT.

The NIT is a stepping stone, shows improvement.....just think, Michigan is the 65th best team in the country right now
;)

Given where we were just a year or two ago - I'll take this

Rguess - winnah!

I know it's not over yet, but all our brackets are shot, nobody has any teams left and we probably don't care anyway
Rguess came out on top and he wins all of our respect and admiration or a reasonable facsimile there of.

Guys won dude......I really don't care about the women, it would be nice for the state, but I will be watching the Yankee game, not the Women's game...or as they refer to them here...."the bitches"
