I have to admire Greg in his charity. He understands that once in a while he has to give the other side a chance. He hit the homer and then he realized that the Braves just purchased new toilets for the guest clubhouse. Well, he doesn't want those toilets to be destroyed so he went ahead and let the Dodgers and the Toilet Breaker win. What a guy! He's thinking of others, and not just himself. He should be man of the year, as well as Superman!
So it has begun. Koma, the ultimate Braves fan has finally arrived. Wonderful take, I like the jab at K. Brown with the toilets. I am no match for your baseball knowledge and concede to you. Since you are so much wiser than I, could you answer this question. How many championships have your Braves of the 90's won? I ask this since they are known as "The Team Of The 90's." I have a new nickname for them, how about, "The Team That Knows How To Choke!" ? Kind of wordy, but I like the sound of it.

I knew you'd go postseason scoreboard. Only deflecting the lameness of the Dodgers in the 90s. All they seem to dodge in this decade is respectability in the standings. But they've always had the family values. The O'Malley family, using their farm system to build a team in the traditional fashion. You know, guys like Kevin "Toilet Smasher" Brown, Todd "Met Reject" Hundley, Gary "I Don't Play There" Sheffield, et al. It's nice to know that even with the Fox Corporation in command, that the Dodgers are still a family business.
Yeah, just like the "Family Values Tour"!

And to answer your question. The Braves have won one more title in the 90s than the Dodgers.
Finally!
Komo has arrived.
The Jackal has been trying to bring you in for some time.
Now I know how the Dodgers felt when they signed K. Brown.
With the additions of Komo and Bud this page will never be the same!
By the way, if the Dodgers win the title this year will Mr Charity share the nickname "Team of the 90s" with the boys in blue?
Gees, talk about diluting the English language.
Out-
Maddux....
Lost three straight. 4.56 ERA. 41 Strike-outs (K.B. 76)
Superman? What do you think Jackal?

I can't deny Maddux and his struggles. I'm glad that the Braves are able to overcome career worst seasons by both Maddux and Glavine this season to still be in first place. Still, those two need to get it together or they won't be able to get past Houston, Arizona, or the Giants.
I'm not so worried about the Dodgers, since the Braves have no postseason problems with them at all. The addition of Brown will help the Dodgers, but only one game, since that's the only shot they have.
I wonder how Brown feels now that another pitcher has stolen the limelight as the temper-tantrum thrower. You gotta love it when an old worn-down guy like Belcher can take down Park!! Park is lucky that Vaughn stayed out of that one. Man, that would have been ugly. But, of course, the Dodgers are known for starting fights. Driefort knew what he was doing when he threw at Andres.
But, to expect any decent behavior from a team owned by the network that brings us "When Animals Fight Back" is a bit of a stretch. I will be looking forward to "The Dodgers : The Animated Series", or "When Toilets Explode", or even "When Korean High Kicks Fail".
In closing, I think the Dodgers are capable of making all those mid-season moves to maximize their opportunity to win the big one. The problem is, as my beloved Lakers found out this season, stacking your team with names isn't enough. You need chemistry and you need leaders. And to further show Fox's inability to grasp that concept, Karros will likely be gone before the deadline.
