Hey the Raven has to make just another comment. How can some of us respond with all these closed topics. I'm just wondering. Not trying to get bossy or anything.
With wonderment.

Raven,
Every time you make these chick's think they wimp out by closing the thread.

FYI ---
Only two people have the ability to close threads in "X-Styles", the moderator and myself.
Among other reasons, it's appropriate to close a thread when:
a) it has become too long and, hence, tedious to follow.
b) it has become hopelessly off topic.
c) it has degenerated to the point that it is not appropriate for the discussion group.
Also, since this is a discussion group, and NOT A CHAT ROOM, closing a thread can discourage perpetual chains of partial or single sentence, thoughtless, and disruptive replies (e.g., G Money in "Oh give me a break".)
Objectively speaking, I don't understand how you are making "these chick's think". All I've noticed is a series of off topic, sometimes insulting comments that don't add to the discussion, the entire purpose of which is to elicit an equally abrasive response.
If your complaint is a lack of depth, you have certainly become the prime example. From the outside looking in, I see a couple of guys, whose command of the english language is shaky at best, playing "circle jerk" with each other.
If you don't want to participate, don't begrudge someone else's opportunity to do so --- throw bombs on someone else's web site. Ideally, Bressler.org is a place where someone can visit without having to be verbally assaulted by the mentally adolescent.

G Money - Your comment on "giving birth to another Texan" was so overwhelmingly thought provoking that I just had to close that thread off before I accidentally learned something.
Thanx Jb,
I was just wondering
