We are making progress!
A team of plumbers and electricians are hard at work installing plumbing for restrooms and improving electrical infrastructure. We hope to bring a group of volunteers aboard in late February to assist with general cleaning. So save up those rags and dig out those pails and buckets.
We are heartened by the broad support of our efforts. Our new Director of Volunteers, Lynda Newton, is sifting through the hundreds of volunteer applications from our enthusiastic group of supporters. For a list of our immediate volunteer needs visit the web site at www.midway.org.
Another way you can assist is by helping us spread the word regarding the sale of our Commemorative Tickets. (www.midwaycommtixs.kintera.org) Flyers are available, contact Theresa Randall at sdacm@aol.com if you would like to distribute ticket information at your place of business.
Reservations for special event space is still our #1 request. To learn more about our special events rental fees and policies, please email our Director of Special Events, Patricia Payne at midwayevents@aol.com. She can also check availability for dates after June 7, 2004.
One final note, Team Midway will begin recruiting staff in May 2004. Positions will be posted this spring. For consideration, please mail your resume to:
