First, it was Schwarzenegger becoming Governor. I've been saying it since 1999. Everyone laughed... it happened.

Next up... Bill Murray winning an Oscar... been saying that since 'Groundhog Day'. Today, Bill Murray got his first, in what will no doubt be a series of Oscar nominations. (Best Actor, Lost in Translation). He won the Golden Globe earlier this week.

I love it when guys like Bill Murray get the recognition they deserve. He has been around for like 15 years - playing some wonderful characters but because it's the comedy genre, these actors are not taken seriously - but that is totally unfair. Acting is acting - it shouldn't matter whether it's straight or comedic - if they did a good job, they did a good job.

I'll be rootin' for ya Bill. Caddyshack is a favourite!
