I was in m div from 86 to 88. I was mm3 back then and made it up to mm1(sw). I worked in 4 eng and pump. anyone else around. I have run into some of the 3 group gang in the last couple years and boy have they changed. I live in texas now after serving almost 15 years I called it quits. I did my last few years in the army res and ya know them people are dangerous! I got a hole in my flak jacket and my helmet one day at the rifle range when I was training a new kid from new york how to fire an m-60. Never should have turned my back on him! anyway. Good thing I got a hard head. I learned how to shoot on the midway hanging out with freinds in the mardet and ya know the only ones that qualified expert on our rifles were me and one other ex navy guy in my army company. Cool huh? Go navy!

I almost quit at the 15 yr mark. Tired of all the BS, but the Navy always offered me something that kept me in. The Marines can do two things well: march and shoot. Spent a few years with them at Lejeune and K-Bay.
