Hi all,
I guess last time I posted I was still in Korea getting ready to come back to CONUS.
Well, I've retired from the Army after twenty long years and now I make my living off the largess of the American taxpayer via DOD Contractor. I work at the Cubic Applications Defense Group, headquarterd at Lacey WA, I work at the Leavenworth KS office actually I work on Fort Leavenworth on the Iraqi Freedom Study Group.
We have been writing a book and hope to have it out by the end of Feb or early March. It is called "On Point' and it is the story of how V Corps marched up country to Baghdad while compiling an amazing list of accomplishments. The book contains many vigenettes of individual bravery, heroism, sacrafice and more than a few that will tear your heart out. But if you are a red blooded American, you will feel enormous pride at the way our Army has comported itself thus far.
I have inadvertantly become a subject matter expert on OIF. Work continues after the book is published as we archive both hardcopy and electronic formats for future research.
Well, look forward to stirring the pot with you once more.
