Jackal

The Jackal is loyal to only one NBA team -- the Lakers. I have and will always bleed purple and gold.
But I understand your confusion. You see, Buffy is demonstrating the essense of myopia. I can just hear Buffy now,
BuffY: "Oh, isn't Jason Williams cute? But why does he have to have all those tattoes?"
Jackal: "Ahh, well he definately has a great cross over dribble. But his shot selection is sometimes questionable."
Buffy: "And that Vlade, he's such a babe."
[JBMoney begins to look annoyed]
Jackal: "Well, he's a great passer but he should be a stronger force inside."
Buffy: "Wow Jackal you know a lot about the Kings."
Jackal: (Clapping after Williams makes a great pass) "Thanks, Buffy I try to extend my knowledge of the NBA beyond the Lakers, even though I'm a dire hard Lakers fan."
Buffy: (Looking confused) "Wow Jackal you know a lot about the Kings. Hey everybody, the Jackal like the Kings. Yeaaa!"
JBMoney: (With a look of horra) He does?
Jackal: Whatever.
Oh the sheer horra of attending the Lakers-Kings game with Buffy in February.
She entered a Lakers fan and left a Kings fan. Hum, I wonder if their victory over the Lakers that night had anything to do with that flip-flop?
In regards to this little video of yours.
Buffy, Buffy, Buffy. You seem to be confusing my appreciation for the Kings win over the Spurs with being a, and I have to hold back the laughter, with being a Kings fan.
I love basketball and was intrigued by the opportunity to see Tim Duncan play. Plus I always am amused by how excited fans at Arco Areno get over their mediocre team. When a generous friend offered his extra ticket, of course I accepted.
But it was apparent to him throughout the game that my standards were high. It takes more than a few flashy plays bu some rookie to get me fired up. Remember I watched Magic Johnson play for a decade, the epitome of flash.
Anyway, when one of those wide-eyed Sac fans realized his team was actually going to defeat San Antonio I was caught in a dilemma. Should I ignore this stranger's raised hand or give em a high five?
Being the classy guy that I am, and knowing the rarity of those type of moments for Kings fans, I accomodated him.
See unlike the myopic, the Jackal can actually enjoy watching other teams play -- even if they are the mediocre Kings.
Hope that clarifies the situation.
