Jackal

The Jazz are about to become the victims of one of the biggest tanks since the (1) seeded Sonics were knocked out by the (8) seeded Nuggets in 94'

Perhaps the Jackal's prediction of the Jazz winning the title was a jinx.

Damn!

I don't know how I'll get over the disappointment if the Kings win the series.
I'd be so bummed.

I mean it would break my heart to see Stockton and Malone extend their NBA leading streak of 130-plus played playoff games without a title.

Well take heart Jazz fans. The Jackal has yet another prediction. Last season the Jazz faced the exact same situation. Trailing 2-1 to the Rockets in the first round, those gutty geezers from Salt Lake stepped up and won game 4 on the road. Then they won game 5 in Utah.

Now I really hope this prediction doesn't jinx the Jazz. What the heck. It's a chance I'm willing to take.

In game four:

Malone will continue to demonstrate his traditional dominant play in the post season. He'll also hush the Kings crowd by hitting all his free throws under 10 seconds.

I predict Utah will be at the top their game. Game 4 will feature the type of exciting Jazz basketball we've all come to know and love.

Stockton will knee Williams in the head while going after a lose ball. Then that little Bulldog can give Berry some cheap shots off the pick and roll.

That reminds me. Damn it John, if you're going to take Vlade out finish the job.

Have no fear, the Jazz will take Divac out once and for all. I can see it now -- some Foster hacks or Hornacek forearms to the lower back off the pick and roll.

Break out the Geratol boys, Sloan is going to extend the game plan.

The Jackal predicts the Jazz will have an answer for Chris Webber. After a couple of time-outs Fuller can always throw up a well placed brick at the foul line. Once it bounces off the front of the rim and smashes Webber in his grill, he'll be out the rest of the game.

That's right those gutty old-timers will step-up with a win in game 4 and follow that up with a win in game 5.

Sorry Kings fans I just call like I see it. Remember you heard it from the Jackal first!
Jazz win series 3-2

Actually, I think that as of Wednesday it's 151 playoff games for Stockton, 141 playoff games for Malone without a ring.

I have to admit, I see it as absolutely inconcievable (sic?) that the Kings could win three in a row against the Jazz. Of course, I felt the same way about them winning one in a row in Utah, or two in a row anywhere.

Friday's game is must win for both teams. Obviously the loss would eliminate Utah. A loss by the Kings...forget about winning in Utah again. If Kings win two in a row in Utah, dogs and cats will rain from the sky, San Francisco will permanently detach from the US mainland, and Elvis will start making goodwill trips to China for the US government.

I am through lurking on the Forum and ready to talk some smack!

Jackal, I think you should change your call name to Rookie because you kings/jizz predictions stink. Your smack is like Utah's Greg Foster's, all talk and no game.

The only Kings fans mantra I have been hearing is "wait until next game!"

The Kings have taken two from the Jizz in the playoffs and have an even split in this years series which brings me to wonder,

How many games did the Lakers take from the Jizz in the playoffs last year?
1? 2? 3? Wrong! 0

The Kings will win the series and those guns Mailman keep in his truck's gun rack will be used to purge himself from the basketball world.

And Rookie, Yes, I do believe White Chocolate and a team thrown together at the beginning of the year are outplaying the Hall of Famers!

But Rookie, dont be insulted by your new name for it is much better than Jackal. Jackal's defintion according to Webster's Dictionary is "an accomplice or a lackey who aids in the commision of base or disreputable acts."

Dont believe me, look it up.

I have to much respect for you to call you jackal and you did put your butt on the line with your predictions.

Peace!

Well, leave it to Caleb to post his prediction AFTER the Kings take a 2-1 lead.

How weak. Typical No-Cal battery chuck.
By the way, who are the Warriors going to draft in the NBA lottery?

Rookie?
Hum. Randy Moss, Vince Carter, the Jackal.
Hey, I'm in great company!

Actually, Webster's dictionary is rarely cited as a source by those with a higher education.

When the Jackal was a "Rookie" in grad school he once made that mistake. But as I continued, I realized that the meaning of certain linguistic terminology sometime transcends the boundries of one's dictionary.

Don't feel bad Caleb. It's just par for the course -- typical writing style for undergraduate students.

But I applaud Caleb's attempt to educate those at bressler.org
Perhaps we should refer to him as "Einstein"

Go Lakers!

Hey rookie/disreputable lackey

I was think more along the lines of rookie meaning: Brian Bosworth, Heath Shuler, Ryan Leaf, Andre Ware and David Klinger.

I think it is wonderful you have a post graduate education, but let me ask you this, then why are you still a lackey who performs menial tasks for others?

I least I do it because I got no stinking education and well maybe because of that acid thing to.

Peace! bic
