View Full Version : Malone was 12 for 12
What a great game...and Malone showed Rodman that he has no effect whatsoever on him...Ostertag was huge with 10 rebounds and a few incredible slams...Anderson was fabulous hitting lay up after lay up...As for the Lakers I know this is going to be chalked us as Carmen Electra's fault for divorcing Rodman on game day...What was up with Shaq A Hack??? I do have to admit that the new guy for the Lakers tyronn lue or whatever had the Lakers playing very well the 2nd and 3rd quarters...anyways Lakers kiss the homecourt advantage gone and start praying you don't face the Jazz in the playoffs...

I can hear it now....next time Lakers play the Jazz the announcers will be saying, "This will be a real interesting game, because it'll be the first time the Jazz has played the Lakers with Rice & Rodman, when Rodman hasn't been going though a divorce."
Any angle to make the game seem more exciting than it actually is.
McKay88 was right on the money.
The Jazz covered the 8 points with ease.
I've said my peace on my posting in reaction to the Raven's smack.
But let me just add one point. This entire process of getting wacked by the Jazz is part of the maturing process of this team.
One year ago the starting five was:
Van Exel -- Harper
Jones -- Kobe
Shaq
Fox Rice
Horry Rodman
Seem different?
While last years team won 61 games, I think Jerry West has put together a superior ball club. Let's give the starting 5 some time to mesh. It's not an excuse, they should be doing better but chemistry takes time to develop.
With this said, the Lakers are clearly running out of time on this season.
No hasty changes need to be made. All the parts are in place now its all about learning to play together defensively. The offense will follow suit.
This team is capable of going to the finals or losing in the first round. It's time for them to look in the mirror and commit to playing as a team.
They can't blame Nick, or Del -- no more excuses it's time to step up and begin playing well going into the playoffs.
