What's your take on Jordon possibly playing for the Hornets while in the process of also purchasing them. Do you see any conflict of interest here?
Do you care?

It's great to have some new blood in the forum.
Well, I personally don't see Jordan coming back in any capacity except owner.
If he were to play with the Hornets and that's a big if, how would it be a conflict of interest? If anything, he would play even harder because the team belonged to him.
It's similar to being a player/coach. Jerry West had a stint in this capacity so did Pete Rose.
At any rate, the rumor is quite intriguing.
What do you think Clarence?

If Jordan was the owner and still felt like he had the "right stuff", I don't see how he could keep from playing.
As a team owner, I would be thinking that I had an opportunity to put the biggest attendance/viewing draw in history, on the court, for free. How could I not do that if all the profits were going to come back to me.
It might even be a teaser to have him come out just for every third period or something.

Well, I personally would be all for it. Play a little ball, make a little money, get down tonight.
However, there is some smack being circulated about Jordon like .....
1."He's 20 pounds heavier than his playing weight" - Big deal
2. "First of all, (Jordon) is not good enough to make the team win anyway, they need the old M.J., the guy from 5 or 6 years ago, to make the team a contender" (Charles Barkley) ouch!
3. And my favorite - He's not able to play because he (M.J.) recently underwent surgery on his right index finger, which he damaged with a cigar cutter. I've heard it's healing nicely.
At any rate - Jordon's agent, David Falk, stated Wed. that there is "Absolutely No Truth" to Jordon coming out of retirement to play for the C.H. (Shame)
There is also that little naging problem *It's against league rules for M.J. to play on the team If he were to be part owner.
You want my personal opinion (too bad)
*This is just a press drill to see how much attention they can squeeze out of this rumor.
Their doing a bang up job.
Not a bad debut for Clarence.
Keep up the solid takes.
Informative yet still brimming with smack.
The Chise could learn a thing or two from this posting.

Ownership is about all MJ is capable of these days. He certainly can't play the game like he used to...
