Jan Murray is and will continue to be extremely proud of the participation of all those who post their thoughts and cutting insight there. I've yet to figure out how they managed to achieve the "No forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster" effect, unless they screwed something up in the database.

Possibly it was something you could only do on older versions of VBulletin, since they haven't cared enough, or known enough, to upgrade their version of VBulletin since August 2001 at least (when version 2.0.3 was released).

It's a shame they don't care enough about the security and features of their Forum to keep up to date. ;)

VBulletin is constantly being upgraded to account for various security holes. Anyone who goes two years without keeping up on web-based software is really asking for trouble.

methinks, tricky dicky pulled the plug under the guise of the forum stuffing up. who cares? i dont. long past the scrapheap date. but i am so enjoying the tears. ;)
