well i went out and bought FF Origins the day (or was it the day after the next?) anywhos very soon after i heard that it came and since i happen to believe FF1 was the very best FF that came out i checked to see if the store i work at carries it and sure enough it did. si with some associate puchasing i got it for 26 bucks as opposed to the 30 some bucks it is in other places. well i popped it in the trusty ole PS1 and aside from the suckiness of which my TV is i thoroughly enjoyed playing it.

now i havn't finished it yet (i WILL) but as far as i've gone thru its stuck virtually side by side with the original except for a few things such as changing the names of a few monsters (creeps - gigas worms) and items (house - cottage though how someone manages to carry around either is beyond me ;) )

in the original FF for nintendo in matoyas cave you speak to the sweepin brooms and they say "tceles b hsup" the supposed secret to bring up the map "trats elcric hsup" but thats for obvious reasons and this one is MUCH more detailed with locations and whatnot. when gaining levels you get more life per lvl and killing enemies you get more gold

more to come soon as i gotta go to work like.... right now :hehe:

I've heard you can get this game plus many others from any gaming system online that run on emulators for free. Thousands of games from all nintendo, sega, sony, atari, ect all playable off your home computer. Heard you can also download them from places like kazza and stuff. Only heard about this never tried it as it is considered kinda illegal like mp3's and stuff. ;) Legal only if you actually own the game. Its like a computerized backup of your game.

oh i know you can i happened to "acquire" an " Nintendo Entertainment System Emulator" plus a "Final Fantasy Emulation"
buts thats not the thing! its all the feel to it the handling of a controller the anger at trying to get the thing to work when it feels like not wanting to (though i admit i've had no problems other than having a crappy TV) and banging on it when i die :) i don't want to hurt my prescious computer. besides i get too much of a need to hac... err edit yeah edit the "Emulation"
