In reference to the New members who have brought it up:

All you folks have now been here long enough to be familiar with basic board policy. YOU agreed to live by certain standards when you joined this board. I and others have reminded you of some of these standards, but they are also here for review:

http://www.bushwhacked.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=2210

Some new members have continued to ignore these standards in a purposeful fashion.

You have continually been insulting to other members of this board and then patted each other on the back for being so 'clever'. Not only have you made insulting posts, but threads have been started that are meant to specifically insult individual members of the board (and started in the General forum to boot).

When that sort of thing goes on it's going to be moved to 'Fight Club' or deleted, along with posts responding to the slight. Even in Fight Club there are limits though, and eventually the entire "Thread O' Crap" will probably be deleted, although I may keep it as a showpiece of how much of an asswipe one specific person can be.

Additionally, as you continue to show disrespect for members of this board, and for the standards that YOU agreed to, it becomes easier and easier to 'show disrespect' for your posts. Where once we might have let something slide, now there is no hesitiation.

I WILL NOT let legitimate discussions be derailed by this behavior.

I WLL NOT allow members of this board, who have lived up to their agreement, to be harassed by people who refuse to.

As Shotglass suggested, Bressler.org is not America. There is no gauranteed freedom to be an asshole at Bressler.org. Bressler.org is my private property. My work, money, attitude, and whim is what keeps it going. For all practical purposes, it is a place where I serve a lifetime term as benevolent dictator.

Your bill of rights here include one article:

1. Love it or leave it.

For Medusa: You are now a member of what we call the 'Fucktard User Group'. Not since 'Boom Pigeon/Spaz59' have I seen one member strafe this board with such a quantity of useless, sometimes barely readable drivel, intended to disrupt discussion. There are only a handful of posts where you managed to make a complete sentence, be on topic, AND NOT be insulting. Congratulations, you can now post in Fight Club Only, and you have no post editing privileges.

If you wish to discuss your new status, use this board's private message feature and contact me. Any related posts whining about your new status will be deleted, or you will just be banned. Continued abuse, even in Fight Club, will result in permanent banning.

Other involved parties: Most of the new folks here have at least tried to make some contribution to this board and I hope they will continue to. There have been instances of breaches mentioned above, but usually involving Medusa.

Additional tips for better living at Bressler.org:

Don't play the victim card just because someone disagress with you. Don't start a fire on an issue if you can't stand the heat.

If you wish to complain about the moderating on an individual thread, send me a Private Message and, together, maybe we can come to an understanding. Don't paint a target on your back by whining about it in a new thread. You automatically kill any pretense about starting a legitimate discussion by doing so.

Don't drag board fights from other places to Bressler.org. Wipe your feet clean of that crap at the door, before you enter. Thank you.

When you start a thread, start it in the appropriate forum. RodJSM and I have been moving your threads out of general to where they belong for days.

Everyone Else: There is no need to respond to hatefull posts and make the situation even worse. Try to let it go, notify a moderator, and it will be dealt with.

BOTTOM LINE: This board's intent is for its members to come here and enjoy themselves, and possibly discuss current events. IT IS NOT a place where they should have to worry about defending themselves or their friends. If any one user, or group of users, tries to make the Forum that kind of place they'll be banned, whether they, or anyone else, think it's unfair or not.

As an update to Medusa's membership status:

Medusa had asked through Private Message (PM) to have her full membership status restored.

However, in her intitial PM she never indicated why she should be restored to full membership status, only that she should be.

I responded back that "I don't see any acknowledgement in this PM that you intend to respect the rules of THIS FORUM. If you get to that point, or need to know where you can review the minimum guidelines that you agreed to when you registered, let me know."

Medusa's reply was to the effect that she had no intention of following the guidelines that she agreed to when she signed up for membership at the Bressler.org Forum.

Since Medusa can't live up to the agreement she made when she signed up for membership, she will no longer be a member here. I'll take care of the administrative aspects of this as soon as possible.

Thank you to all the members of the board who were patient during Medusa's brief stay here, and refused to stoop to her level. My apologies for any inconvenience on your part.
