invisible cursor

is there any reason you all could think of why i cannot see the cursor on the character generation screen, as it is very frustrating tryin g to set the invisible thing on a little box to click. any help would be appreciated. i have tried changing the cursor color in the control panel even though i am sure there are custom cursors for the game itself. ps:: i tried every graphic setting too

It's definitely not supposed to be that way. I will look around for an answers to that one.

Make sure that you have absolutely all processes possible closed, my first guess would be that it's a system resources problem.

Also, make sure you have the very latest video driver (check the manufacturer's site). I'm usually pretty up to date on those things and I still had to update driver on both of my primary workstations.

Everything I can find relates that problem to a video card issue. Tell me what your video card is and I can look for more specific info on it?

First off though, you should make sure the driver is the most recent one. If it still doesn't work try this:

Look for your nwn.ini file in your game directory and change the following:

"Enable HardwareMouse=1"

to

"Enable HardwareMouse=0"

well well well, after reading the forum at the NWN site i have come to the conclusion that i need a nw vidoe card. and lets hope that after i spent another $300 on it the company and all tech support wont go belly up and i will be able to get drivers from the manufacturer rather than 3rd party suppliers. tanks fer da research though.
