Every week or two a new game, generally web-based, will be posted in the "This, That & Whatnot" section of the Bressler.org Forum. For a preview of the type of games that might be used, visit the Bressler.org Time-Wasters page:

Whoever chooses to can compete against other Forum users for the best scores. The top three finishers, as evidenced by posting a non-altered screen capture, will score points towards a Bressler.org Gaming Championship.
1st Place - 5 Points
2nd Place - 3 Points
3rd Place - 1 Points
Each game will have it's own thread. Screenshots of high scores will be posted to this thread. When the game is closed (about one week) non-placing screenshots will be removed.
Each first place finisher will also get 2 points toward the overall Forum Championship, details of which are coming soon...
The top three Forum members with the most points accumulated from past Gaming Challenges will have a medal (under your avatar) that indicates your standing.
There may be other recognition, to be determined at a later date.
Every six-months, we'll start over (coinciding with Forum Championship).
The overall winner for 2002 will retain a Gaming Champion medal... in perpetuity... and a new competition will start.
This relies a lot on the honor system. If anyone is ever determined to be:
* cheating
* using macros or other programs that do the work for you
* altering scoring screenshots
* using someone else's screenshots
...they will be stripped of all medals and not allowed to compete for the remainder of the year.
