What do you think about politicians?

For the purposes of this poll, let's define politicians as that group of people that are directly elected by the general public (not appointees, etc), and serve in a state/federal legislative, executive, or judicial capacity.

I voted universally corrupt, but I feel it is closer between that and the second option. I think probably 50 percent or so stink of corruption.

I don't think it matters anymore if it's Democrat or Republican. Both sides are only in it for the almighty dollar because, they vote themselves these ungodly raises every so often and the poor working man is working paycheck to paycheck barely surviving.

Both houses of Congress have standing rules that afford automatic raises, plus cost of living increases, unless the houses vote NOT to accept the raises. Now, wouldn't we peasants like that in our working lives?
