Opinion Journal (WSJ) (http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110007752) - American blacks who are affiliated with the Republican Party are vigorously vilified by Democrats, especially black Democrats. Uncle Tom, sell-out, Oreo--the list of slurs is long.

But it is not only insults. I am the founder and director of a unique, progressive homeless facility in downtown Los Angeles, known as the Dome Village. Yet the 35 men, women and children and their pets who call the Dome Village home are being "evicted" from privately owned property after 12 1/2 years--apparently on account of my political beliefs and activities. You see, though I am a leading homeless activist, I am also a conservative Republican and a strong supporter of President Bush.

Here's how the situation played out. Recently, I was invited to address a local Republican Women's Club; my landlord read an article in the local paper reporting on the event. Soon after, I received a notice raising the Dome Village rent from $2,500 a month to $18,330. Shocked, I inquired as to the seriousness of the change, and the property owner blurted out that the cause of our "eviction" was "because you are Republican." He said that as a Democrat, he was tired of helping me and the Dome Village. In other words, let the homeless be damned.

And people think the Democrats are the party of compassion and tolerance.

I knew one like that just after college where I worked, and we got pretty friendly. I told my housemate (female) about her, that she was HOT-HOT, and after they met, as soon as she got me in private she whispered "she is HOT-HOT". She had a toned West African body, very voluptuous, but no fat. About 5'-6". Her skin was the color of dark french roast coffee and incredibly soft. I would say without a doubt that she was the most attractive women that I ever knew personally.

The thread topic was about black Republicans and somehow we got off on the subject of how "hot" some black women are...as if to say that the only thing blacks have to offer is YET ANOTHER place for you guys to brag about putting your collective dick. Now I'm not some super-sensitive political correct monster...in fact I'm usually the first to jump in when there's joking around to be done. I suppose I just find it annoying that no matter what the topic of any thread in here is, it always becomes some forum for you two to gloat about your supposed sexual exploits. It seems to me that if y'all had gotten as much pussy as you profess, the novelty of it would've worn off by now. :what:

This reminds me of a local political talk show, where the host is a moderate-liberal. One day he started talking about a "black" issue, and this gut calls up and rags on him because he was talking about it. "You can't comment on it because your not black, and you don't know what it's like to be be black". No matter what the host said in his defense, the caller had a comeback like that.

So I think this "side issue" is completely on track with the thread starter.
