I figured that I would make a new thread for this one.... I finished "Critical Mass" and another one named "Bad Men" in about three days. I'm starting "The Infinite Jest" by David Foster Wallace, "Caddilac Jukebox" by James Lee Burke and "The Investigators" by W.E.B. Griffith. What are you reading?

You'll definately enjoy it! I've read it several times & each time come away with a much better understanding of Middle Earth's geneology & lore. Tolkien was pure genius.

Sorry but I'm jammed up in Textbooks and research, How do you all find time to read for leisure? I read manuals and MILSPECs and MIL-STD's all the time, but it ain't for fun. Although I did read the old man and the sea recently, pretty good read from Hemmingway. And I read the life story of Junior Johnson: Brave in life. A racers must read  (Spotter)

Finished thesis in May. Reading list for January through May consisted of

Nothing.

In the previous two years, I've read I think one book for pleasure just because I needed a break from studying.

I made the mistake of going on Amazon last week while ill still reading three other books. I have a tendency to read more than one book at a time.

Current:

Pity the Nation: The Abduction of Lebanon by Robert Fisk

Sorrows of Empire: Chamlers Johnson

Chain of Command :The Road from 9/11 to Abu Ghraib by Seymour M. Hersh (Had to put it down for a while casue it overlaps with some other stuff I read.

On the way from Amazon
The Great War for Civilisation : The Conquest of the Middle East by Robert Fisk (I just realized its over 1000 pages..... :scary: )

Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies [Paperback]
By: Jared Diamond

The Truth About Camp David : The Untold Story About the Collapse of the Middle East Peace Process [Paperback]
By: Clayton E. Swisher

I thought I would finally see what all the hoopla is about Harry Potter and am halfway through The Sorcerer's Stone. Not a bad read I suppose. When Hermione is talked about in the book, I can't stop thinking about the Lindsay Lohan/Harry Potter skit on Saturday Night Live. :Boobies:

Currently half way through "Lance Armstrong Tour de Force" by Daniel Coyle. A very interesting read based around the 2004 professional cycling season and Lance's 6th Tour de France win...
